Germans think that Europe needs to become more social. This is indicated by this representative study. They agree to the statement that most of the problems of the EU are caused by the economic and social differences between the EU member states. Therefore, the respondents recognize the need for action regarding sociopolitical issues - on the European level as well as on the German level - to a high extent.
