The implementation of Village Fund in Indonesia has one of the objectives to develop an innovative, smart and sustainable. The villages have taken steps particularly in the aspect of local economic development, which become the focus issue for the object research in 5 villages, namely Pariangan Village-Padang (West Sumatera), Tembi Village-Bantul (Special Region of Yogyakarta), Pujon Kidul Village-Malan (East Java), Tajun Village-Bali, and Boru Kedang Villang-East Flores (East Nusa Tenggara). Those villages have shown their ability to create creativity and innovation, especially in increasing the village economic aspect that contributes to the improvement of the community economics. The good practice, innovation and creativity in the villages recorded in this research hopefully can become the lesson learned for the thousands of villages in Indonesia and contribute to the policy recommendation for the policy maker in order to develop policies related to village.
