Did you know, that despite the oversimplified narrative propagated by some right-wing politicians, people in-fact migrate due to complex reasons? These drivers range from escaping conflict, and seeking better livelihood opportunities, to the overall right to development. There is an imminent need to conduct honest and fact-based discussions in an inclusive nature among all stakeholders. In that respect, this publication offers a research-based perspective echoing the voices of migrants. This unique approach in methodology reiterates the importance of including their lived experiences in telling the migration story.
