The COVID-19 pandemic has functioned as a catalyst and medium for ongoing change in the international order. This study analyzes the changing geopolitics in East Asia after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also discusses the prospect of a peace process on the Korean Peninsula and South Korea’s role against the backdrop of an intensifying rivalry between the US and China.
