  • This article is about memorial cultural asset and its restoration in Germany. Not only the German Federal Government and State Governments but also a number of civil organizations are devoted to the restoration of cultural assets. Particularly after reunification the issues of restoration work has obtained more significance because in the former DDR many historical buildings of earlier centuries were neglected. This article states given the current division of the Korean peninsula the German experience might become relevant.
