With further reference to my letter of July the 4th inconnection with my application for an extension of my temporarystay in this country, I have received a hoppar from the DistrictDirector, New York District of the Immigration and Naturalization Service , copy of which is attached together with my reply thereto.
I note that this letter states that I have been grantedpermission to accept employment. Will you therefore disregardthe statement in my letter of July the 4th stating that the permissionto work had not yet been granted. I shall notify you immediately
on obtaining employment of the name of my employer, nature of employ-ment and the salary to be paid. I am also enclosing a copy of
the letter from the Immigration and Naturalization Service of Philadelphia to which reference was made in my letter of July the 4th.
