ECONOMIC POLICY ANALYSES The Eurozone and Bulgaria – interrelations and future perspectives Nadya Yorgova The current analysis confirms strong interrelation between Bulgaria and the Eurozone member states. In mid- and long-term perspective the positive sides of joining the Euro area are definitely outweighing the possible negative ones. Stepping on the economic background and the topical analysis of the present situation, one can unmis­takably conclude that Bulgaria needs to quickly move forward to the currency club. May 2011
