The provision in the section is aimed at securing personnel, election materials and voters from any danger and damage resulting from disorderliness. (b) Section 49 of the Electoral Act 2010(as amended) By the provision of Section 49 of the Electoral Act 2010(as amended), a voter shall present himself/herself to the Presiding Officer for issuance of ballot paper. The integrity of the electoral process will be greatly undermined if accreditation of voters is not conducted by the commission. Every voter is expected to present himself/herself to the Presiding Officer who, upon being satisfied that the person is registered to vote, shall issue the person with a ballot paper. (c) Section 50 of the Electoral Act 2010(as amended) This section grants to a candidate in the election the right to challenge the issuance of a ballot paper to a voter except in accordance with the law.
