Electoral Offences 2.5.2 Composition of the committee: A District Registration Review Committee normally consists of the following: · A Lawyer of high repute in the district who is normally the Chairman of the Committee. · A representative of each registered and functioning political party in the district. · The District Electoral Officer who is usually the secretary to the committee. · The Chief Police Officer in the district. · The Head of the Education Service in the district. · A Traditional Ruler in the district. 2.5.3 Functions of the Review Committee: · To assess the reason or reasons for the challenge · To decide whether the challenger has sufficient grounds for the challenge · To communicate its decision in writing to 31
