Electoral Offences 3) Disruption and Attack For the purpose of winning votes a political party may encourage its supporters to undertake a kind of voluntary work in a given community. This may be seen by an opponent party as an affront and undue challenge. They will therefore decide to attack without any provocation. Such an act is not in consonance with the electoral laws in Ghana. 4) Provocation: A political party may for example, provoke an opponent by holding its campaign rally close to the opponent's office. This is an indirect invitation to confusion and mayhem. An avoidable confusion of this nature between parties should not be encouraged.
