ANALYSIS DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS IRAQI KURDISTAN’S POLITICAL LANDSCAPE AFTER THE 2021 ELECTIONS Dr. Sardar Husin Aziz June 2022 Last October, Iraqis and Kurdish citizens voted to change the Iraqi government. The country is still without a government, and the political landscape became more fragile after Sadr ' s departure. This policy study provides an overview of the post-2021 Iraqi parliament early election landscape in Iraqi Kurdistan. It is difficult to understand the Iraqi Kurdistan political landscape without understanding the hazy domestic party politics. This study demonstrates the main parties core values with a brief background about the situation. 1
