The G7’s concept for increased multilateral climate policy coordination(»climate club«) focuses on cooperation. This has the potential to accommodate the concerns of the Global South from the beginning. Thomas Greven December 2022 Trade policy can contribute to climate change mitigation. Additional measures beyond border carbon adjustments and climate clubs are called for, not least on account of transportation-related emissions.
