Human Rights Economics offers a relevant and workable framework within which to design economic policy that responds to today’s challenges. It encourages human rights advocates to be bolder in engaging with economic thought and practice. Human Rights Economics shares many of the features of other branches, such as doughnut economics, ecological economics, feminist economics or stratification economics. It also shares perspectives and objectives of other alternative discourses, such as heterodox economics, Buen Vivir or Wellbeing economy.
