In 1947, the International Falcon secretariat was founded at a conference near Amsterdam, which at the same time formally wound up the old SEI. At the 8th congress in Vienna 1962, the development of a new International began, which came into being in 1970. The International Falcon movement decided to include in its name that it was a Socialist Educational International, and the organization has its own staff and office in Brussels.
