PERSPECTIVE| FES LONDON DEMOCRACY AND HUMAN RIGHTS THE BRITISH GENERAL ELECTION OF 2019 Conservative Triumph. Labour Disaster. Tim Bale June 2021 A weakening of the traditional relationship between class and vote choice was an underlying factor for the 2019 parliamentary elections results: Labour has retained the support of the countrys poorest workers, but has been losing support among working people in general.
