Women are disproportionately affected by this and likely to experience greater marginalisation and even loss of livelihood. The business model of trans­national platform companies produces and reproduces racialised and gendered hier­archies in the labour market. A feminist action framework on the digital economy proposes powerful new visions for creating and sustaining gender-­just societies.
