Abstract
  • The rising demand for long-term care is a significant issue for the EU. Consequently, an increasing number of care platforms are connecting workers with clients in need of care. This FES-EPSU overview report provides a broad overview of care platforms in the long-term sector and outlines different approaches trade unions can take to address employment conditions in the care sector, including specific action in relation to platform work, to ensure workers have a voice. The report also discusses strategies at the political level.
