This study sheds light on the harsh realities faced by LGBTQI+ individuals in Syria, where limited information exists about their daily challenges and threats. By using a mixed-methods approach—including 136 online surveys and 37 qualitative interviews—the research aims to raise visibility, highlight key issues, and provide actionable recommendations for advocates. While the findings are not fully representative due to sampling limitations, they offer critical insights into the struggles of a community often marginalized, with challenges likely even more severe in rural and less-educated areas.
