Abstract
  • Our publication takes stock of the state as a service provider. It shows which public services Hungarians are satisfied with and which ones they are less satisfied with. It takes a detailed look at what Hungarians consider to be the most pressing problems in four priority areas – social safety net, transport, health, education – and the level of public support for the reform proposals that frequently emerge. Overall, our research aims to highlight areas where Hungarians would expect more from the state and to contribute to the development of public policies that improve public services, where there is the greatest social demand.
