Abstract
"All for One: Experiences of Education Unions from Several Countries" explores how education unions operate across diverse political and historical contexts. It highlights that Western countries, grounded in democratic values, tend to provide more liberal and union-friendly environments through adherence to international labour standards. In contrast, many non-Western nations face greater challenges, often shaped by histories of authoritarianism. Drawing on these case studies, the report proposes key steps for establishing education unions in Thailand, including legal advocacy, organizational coordination, public campaigning, research, negotiations with authorities, and international collaboration.
