Abstract
Englisch
Since 2010, housing has been a key policy field under Hungary’s right-wing Fidesz–KDNP governments, centered on promoting a “homeowners’ society” and supporting middle-class homeownership. Despite rising real estate and rental prices, affordability has only recently entered public debate and remains largely absent from the government’s policy agenda.
