Zusammenfassung
- Across Europe, one-stop shops (OSS) have emerged as a practical response to fragmented and difficult-to-navigate integration support. By bringing together services provided by public authorities and civil society organisations within a coordinated framework, they provide a clearer entry point into support and help strengthen collaboration across institutions. Drawing on many European experiences, this paper explores different OSS models, their potential benefits and key design principles. It argues that OSS should be understood as an essential arrival infrastructure that can improve integration outcomes based on more efficient support and a shared culture of welcome. This is the second paper in the FES policy paper series "Promising Practices in Migration Policy".
