Zusammenfassung
There is no lack of interest, nor is there any lack of awareness. Climate is important, climate change is scary. This has led not least to the setting of ambitious climate targets. Nevertheless, it is not very clear how a climate-neutral transformation of our lifestyles and ways of doing business can be achieved in concrete terms. Which measures will generate resistance? Which concerns are shared or rejected in which milieus? These are key questions for the selection of a reform corridor that gains broad broad support. For this reason, the Friedich-Ebert-Stiftung's Competence Center for Climate and Social Justice commissioned the SINUS-Institute to conduct a population survey in 19 countries. The results form the basis for country-specific evaluations and an international comparative analysis. Recommendations for narratives, communication and political measures in five areas are derived from this.
