Zusammenfassung
Poland was relying to roughly 50% on imports for its energy supply before 2022. Poland’s largest energy import partner was Russia, which supplied 35% of Poland’s gross available energy. This has changed drastically since 2022. Poland has been pursuing already before that date a strategy to replace Russian fossil fuels by imports from other sources. This strategy has been accelerated drastically after the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
