The government of Iraq, headed by Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi, is facing many intertwined challenges on the political and security files that must be dealt with. Otherwise, the political scene will be exacerbated, which would lead to complicating and collapsing of the system. This paper discusses the most major challenges and appropriate solutions and policy recommendations to overcome challenges.
