Abstract
This report examines womens and gender politics in the U.S. in the context of far-right nationalist populism and extremism, in three parts. First, it looks at gendered framings in the Tea Party, evangelical Christianity, and populist frames linking anti-elitism and anti-gender studies, along with the impact of the 2016 election on repro- ductive and LGBTQ+ rights. Second, it situates these devel- opments within a gendered and extreme right, including the »Tradwife«, »incel«, and male supremacy movements. Finally, the report turns to counter movements and strat- egies to combat far-right mobi- lization, with a particular eye toward gendered aspects.
