Since 2014, Mertek Media Monitor has regularly analysed the news consumption habits of the Hungarian adult population. The last such research took place two years ago. Since then, there have been a number of media market events the impact of which on news consumption is yet unknown.
How did, for example, the birth of the Central European Press and Media Foundation (KESMA), the Covid-19-situation or the transformation of Index.hu affect the access to public information? What are the long-term trends? These questions and others will be answered, based on the new national representative survey by Medián Opinion & Market Research.
