Iraq is going through be the most dangerous setback in the past two decades, a complex crisis (financial - health - political), but the biggest challenge is the financial side; in light of the decline in financial returns due to the negative demand for oil resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. This paper analyzes the expected size of the financial crisis in Iraq, considering number of other challenges, and providing possible economic solutions and policies to address them, especially in light of a new government and an unstable political situation as well as the health challenge.

يمر العراق بأزمة قد تكون هي الأخطر خال العقدين الماضيين تقريباً، أزمة مركب) مالية- صحية-سياسية(إلا أن التحدي الأكبر يتمثل في الجانب المالي وذلك في ظل تراجع العوائد المالية نتيجة صدمة الطلب السالبة للنفط والناجمة عن أزمة فايروس كورونا. تقدم هذه الورقة تحليل الحجم المتوقع للأزمة المالية في العراق لاسيما في ظل عدد من التحديات الأخرى، وتقديم الحلول والسياسات الاقتصادية الممكنة لمعالجتها لاسيما في ظل حكومة جديدة ووضع سياسي غير مستقر فضلً عن التحدي الصحي.
