Situation report from 9 Central and Southeast European countries (Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia) about the economical and political consequences of the corona lockdown on the media landscape and information freedom, based on country reports of local correspondents from the network of media NGO and Eastern Europe Press Agency �n-ost�. The study offers a snapshot of the situation of the media from the perspective of journalists: How has the coronavirus crisis affected the daily routine of editorial staff? How dangerous are the economic consequences? Where is access to information guaranteed by governments, and where is it undermined?
