Zusammenfassung
The analytical paper on healthcare reform launched in 2018 in Ukraine provides a thorough assessment of the reform with a strong focus on the financial mechanism of the healthcare sector, the introduction of the compulsory medical insurance system as well as the first achievements of the reform.
The paper provides recommendations as to the possible solutions of problematic aspects of the reform, in particular as regards financing of medical institutions, first and secondary medical care, patients’s routes and approaches to organization and financing of diagnostics.
