Latvia highly appreciates the support provided by European Union funding for Latvia's development, which has contributed to the country's economic growth and productivity. It has allowed it to move closer to the European Union's average level of development. The current cohesion policy has contributed to the development of the country and has undermined various economic shocks, but the differences between the Member States of the European Union and their regions remain, and it is therefore necessary to continue the work of the European Union in this area. The study offers an in-depth analysis of the situation in Latvia with regard to the institutions of the European Union.
