Zusammenfassung
The publication summarizes the results of the international conference “What is left of the Left?“ which took place in January 2017 at Haifa University, in cooperation between the FES Israel and the Haifa Center for German and European Studies. The conference was designed to help understand the decline in social democracy over the last few decades and to discuss the challenges a new, progressive policy is facing today. International experts from academia, politics and civil society were provided with a platform to discuss possible alternatives.
