Abstract
This publication informs, that gender inequalities in pay are among the most resilient features of labour markets across the world. The Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) and the Trade Union Confederation of the Americas (TUCA) have agreed to make a contribution to the debate on the different dimensions of gender-based discrimination in remunerations in Latin America. The aim of this publication is to contribute to trade union and to political debate on this fundamental issue and to the efforts to design and develop trade union strategies and action plans.
