Zusammenfassung

This article was commissioned as a part of the Economy of Tomorrow project to investigate Thailand’s progress towards the development of a green economy and industry, and the creation of decent jobs. The article show that while the Thai government and industry have been making some movement towards a greener economy, the sufficient political will has not yet been generated to make any significant impact on Thailand’s goals to promote alternative energies, increase industrial efficiency, and reduce its total carbon output.
