This article was commissioned as a part of the Economy of Tomorrow project to investigate Thailand�s progress towards the development of a green economy and industry, and the creation of decent jobs. The article show that while the Thai government and industry have been making some movement towards a greener economy, the sufficient political will has not yet been generated to make any significant impact on Thailand�s goals to promote alternative energies, increase industrial efficiency, and reduce its total carbon output.
