The discourse and the activities of Salafi movements throughout the MENA region regarding political participation, civil rights and other essential questions have significantly changed with the onset of the Arab spring. The publication summarizes the findings of a conference convening experts on Islamist movements and moderate Salafis to discuss Salafist transformations in the Arab world in recent years.
