This opinion paper sheds light on the need for socio-economic development in Afghanistan. Dr. Chansoria calls for the fortification of the pillars of social democracy by addressing the disparities between men and women and addressing the issue of social justice in Afghanistan’s social, economic, and political life by reforming the education sector, improving levels of governance and the integration of Afghan refugees back in into Afghan society through safe and voluntary repatriation.
