This publication marks the conclusion of an active period of 9 years in the field of women's rights and support to marginalised groups in Cyprus. It reports in a chronological order the achievements of APANEMI's Information and Support Center. It highlights the gap in the field of protection and rehabilitation for victims of gender violence and social exclusion and their absence in the decision making process and forums in the island; it offers useful data from the activity during those 9 years and the 6000 cases handled by the Centre; it presents significant case studies and is addressing future attempts to combat domestic violence and the possible obstacles they might face.
