Abstract
Today, transnational corporations dominate the global economy, controlling some 80 per cent of world trade. To protect the rights of workers and represent their interests, trade unions need to secure their power base within and along global value chains. Referencing the enlarged context offers: greater policy insights, broader solidarity, and increased leverage for organising and collective bargaining.
