Zusammenfassung
Following Georgia’s change of government in 2012, which led to an easing of tensions between Tbilisi and Moscow, one also got the impression that Yerevan and Tbilisi were now better positioned to improve relations, including in the regional context. However, the 2013 Ukraine crisis and abrupt deterioration in relations between Russia and the West also affected the geopolitics context in the South Caucasus and former Soviet Union in general. This created new challenges and new possibilities for Armenia and Georgia.
This publication is the result of the first Armenian-Georgian Expert Forum, which was followed by an exchange ideas and suggestions for future activities.
