Radicalisation in prisons is becoming increasingly widespread throughout the world. Terrorist groups use proximity conditions in prison spaces to "solidify" the number of their fighters. In Africa, this situation of radicalisation in prisons is ignored and yet it remains a reality that deserves to be better known, studied and taken care of in a preventive manner by the prison administration and the State.
