Public transport in Kenya remains subject to harassments by either users or operators. The problem mainly stems from a behavioral problem that can be addressed by among others, embracing and implementing a code of conduct. This publication seeks to provide a template for a code of conduct for public transport in Kenya that can be adopted by public transport Saccos and users, enforced by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) and provide policy guidance for legislators. It is a culmination of joint efforts to address the problem of harassments in public transport by the NTSA, Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association (KYPA), Political Leadership and Governance Programme (PLGP) Alumni, the gender justice movement and The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Kenya Office.
