  • This report, presented at the High Level Political Forum at the UN in New York in July 2022, analyses the current situation in Belarus for each of the 17 SDGs and gives recommendations on how to achieve progress with regards to each of them. It is an alternative independent civil society report, since the official Belarusian Report in the framework of the 2nd Voluntary National Review Mechanism Process is not the result of an inclusive consultation and draws an unrealistically optimistic picture. Our report was prepared in co-operation with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya’s Office, which was steering the process of drafting it, but guaranteed the independence of the authors and their unfiltered analyses.
