Abstract
The majority of substantive environmental law in the UK came onto the statute book during the period of EU membership. While friction and conflict are likely to feature prominently for quite some time in the EU-UK relationship regarding issues like the Northern Ireland Protocol, migration, and trade, both sides share great common interests in the field of environmental and climate policy. In this publication, the different positions of the EU and UK are analysed and ways towards cooperation on post-Brexit environmental regulation are outlined.
