Egypt has an abundant solar and wind energy resources that are left not fully utilized, they should be used an alternative for the current fossil fuels which contradict with the minimum sustainable energy standards required for environmental protection and to curb greenhouse gas emissions resulting in climate change. This report addresses the process of energy transformation towards 100 % renewable while mitigating social and economic impacts of this transformation.
