Migration is increasingly becoming a hot topic for Africa-Europe engagement, particularly in the light of increased irregular migration to Europe from Africa in the recent years. Against the background of the EU-AU summit in Malta, this meeting aimed at facilitating a political dialogue between the different stakeholders in order to foster common understanding, facilitate future cooperation and to draw up policy recommendations.
