E.F. worked in the labor movement since herearly youth. The Nazis murdered her husband.She was arrested many times and suffered greatly.Today she is a faithful and excellent worker ofthe labor movement again.

When Hitler came to power L.L. was businessmanager for the" Arbeiter- Wohlfahrt".During theHitler 's regime she worked illegally, was perse-cuted and had to hide for many years. She escapedunder very difficult conditions from eastern partof Germany and today she is again business mana-ger for the A.W.

M.Peters was a most helpful underground workerof the labor movement during Hitler 's regimeand at present works industriously for theGerman Social Democratic Party .

F.N. was continuously under surveillance afterHitler came to power but in spite of that shemanaged to help others.At present she is a direc­ tor of the" Arbeiter- Wohlfahrt" in Westfalia.

A.S. belongs to the bravest women and was manyyears in a concentration camp and jail up to theliberation.Before Hitler she was very active inwomens organisations where she works at presentagain.Her health suffered greatly.

E.Lubitz experienced a similar fate to many pol-itivaly activ wamen who were hunted and had tohide.She 11st many members of her family and allher personal belongings. She works at present withthe" Arbeiter- Wohlfahrt" where she concentrateson making homes, camps for children." Work forothers, especially for children is a help to over-come sorrow", she wrote to a friend in one of herletters.

M.F.belonged to the most persecuted during theNazis power. She spend a long time in an concen-tration camp. When she returned to Braunschweig her hometown, she was made a member of the stategovernment.After this was dissolved, she was compelled to stay in the administration of theBraunschweig region.Besides that she spends mostof her time for the" Arbeiter- Wohlfahrt".
