A number of megatrends, i.e. climate change, digitalization and changing mobility concepts are transforming this sector worldwide. The employees in Central and Eastern Europe in this sector are thus facing major changes in their future employment. Against this background, FES Prague initiated a regional project on the future of em­ployment in the automotive industry in Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. The output are four country stud­ies and a comparative analysis put together in this publica­tion.
