Her main areas of expertise include gender studies, women's political representation, the history of feminism, equal opportunity policies since 1989, the nation, hygiene and gender construction in the 19th century. She has published numerous studies in scholarly journals(Problems of Post-Communism, Journal of Family History, Clio. Femmes, Genre, Histoire, Journal of Research and Social Intervention, etc.) and with publishing houses in the country and abroad(éd. Claudiu Tufiș is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Bucharest, with a PhD in political science(Penn State University, 2007). His main areas of interest include political culture, political participation, electoral studies and research methodology.
