The EU maintains Strategic PartnershipswithallBRICcountries.Oneusefullineforjointactionwouldbeto identifythematiccoincidencescuttingacrossStrategicPartnerships.Thisis underscoredbythefactthattheStrategicPartnershipActionPlanrecognises Brazilsrole presumablythesameappliestoChina asaglobalplayerandsets outproposalsforcooperationandconsultationonaseriesofglobalagendas includingtriangularcooperationbenefitingdevelopingcountries.
