An uncontrolled digitisation with AI on the top threatens to throw our work-oriented society off its current balance. A laissez-faire policy would not be a good path towards a digiti ­sed work-oriented society. An AI impact assessment should ac ­tion on a suitable political-regulatory framework, transparency about ob ­jectives and operating modes of AI, participation and qualification of em ­ployees in the use of AI.
